I had a sudden revelation last night…it maybe the effects of no sleep due to over busy brain but it occured to me I am horrible at making cards with the glue and paper ( thats not new I have known that for ages ). Even with my wonderful Pazzles…I make the templates I can see the card in my mind then as soon as the Pazzles has done it’s magic and I go to put it together it all goes horribly wrong. I will never be a happy accident crafter I am a swear at it and bin it crafter. So the sudden revelation is I am not gonna put any more card through torcher…and save many tree’s but I am going to use my templates digitally. Ok they may not be as 3D but at least they wont look like a 3 year old ran wild in a craft room lol. I am about to make a card for Scott’s Nan with this template so I will let you know how it works out.

I decided at the end of last year to make a new blog …this one is staying…. and I am up to April with new posts so we are all ticketty boo here. I did start a scrapbooking one but it was too restrictive andΒ  I have seen a lot of “do something ever day” kind of stuff and I like so many other things like smashbooks, scrapbooking and anything and everything I see so I thought I would make an whatever takes my fancy kind of thing. At the moment there are just some projects that I have found and hope to try but I am hoping to have some of my stuff up there like my digi-stamps ( oh the shop.. another horrible mistake thankfully now gone ) I will warn you if you thought this blog was a bit moany the other one maybe worse so those of a happy disposition may wish to avoid πŸ˜€ πŸ˜€Β  The link is on the right called THE OCD CRAFTER.

I got sent a report by WordPress in the New Year and it says I can share it with you if you would like to see last years stats do have a lookΒ  HERE and my best commenters on that list will be getting a little something just haven’t made it yet πŸ˜€

I know I waffled on tonight but one more thing before I go can I ask if we think the font is alright. I have been playing around with different ones and different sizes. I think it maybe I need new glasses but I have made the font a little bigger …. is the size ok for everyone if not I can make it smaller for the acutal post just bigger when I type lol.

Anyway finally the template ….

Here’s what you get ….

After taking Lisa’sΒ Β Β  ( Lisa I still love you lol )Β Β Β  wonderful advice the SVG should work in MTC ( crossing everything) but just in case I have added the EPS and Nana don’t worry after seeing your lovely projects the PDF is staying for good. πŸ˜€

Oh, most lovely dear Krewella–love all those little crowns, will make someone feel like a Princess or maybe a King!  Hope you are having a grand day.  I'm still making the "real" cards–and yes, because some days the vision isn't where it should be, I suppose it does look like a kindegarten project, however my friends still love all the cards I make them anyway–and some of them even "frame" them up and hang them on walls!  So I'm sure yours are just as "hang worthy" as mine are!

    I love all you do.

  • January 4, 2013 at 11:29 pm

I'm new to your blog and I love the big print. and the layout. The design is not busy so it makes it easier to read good luck.  I have a blog on blogger but I haven't used it in a year. Thngs have changed alot.  I can't load pictures from my computer like I use to.  I now have to have an account of some kind.  What do you use for your format here?  Its what I'm looking for on my blog to share what I create.

    • January 4, 2013 at 11:51 pm

I tried blogger Kitt and it was far to complicated for me when I started. I went to wordpress because it was so much easier you can get free site from them I would think it would be worth having a go. I used them for the first year and yes you just upload straight from your computer and even make galleries by clicking. I only moved to wordpress on the server because of keeping my downloads safer. If you need a hand with wordpress give me a shout on the email I can pretty much do the simple stuff and then I call in the tec dept husband for the complicated stuff lol

Thank you so much for your latest gift Krewella and I really do enjoy your blog, you always make me smile. I thought I was the only one who had crafting calamities so it is nice to know I have company haha. Thanks again and Happy New Year xxx

  • January 4, 2013 at 11:50 pm

I can sympathize with you…I have scal and mtc and sometimes the most fun is putting together an idea on the screen.  Then the real work is cutting the paper and putting the design together!  Thank you for this file…it is just lovely.

  • January 4, 2013 at 11:54 pm

thank you so much.. I have an idea for Valentine's Day cards.   I chuckled when I read your comments about glue.   I am no better with tape and paper. LOL.   I am considering going back to my digital stationery and at least I will not be vaccuuming the craft room daily LOL.  Only kidding I do love my Pazzles.  Thanks again

  • January 5, 2013 at 12:20 am

Hi ya Krewella, another fantastic file, great frames and border.  Thanks a million.

You asked about the new font you are using, I personally think it's fine.  I think it's better to have a bigger font that is easier to read rather than end up with a squint, lol.

BTW I love it when you rant on here, you craic  me up, so I'm going over now to check out your OCD Crafter site and look forward to lots of rants.  Keep the fun and laughter up, you give us all a lift. πŸ™‚

Love these – thanks so much for sharing!  The font is fine – I just  use Ctrl and + to make the font bigger!  I find it a little hard to read the white on the black background, but my eyes aren't that great!

  • January 5, 2013 at 12:31 am

    This is beautiful! Thanks!!

  • January 5, 2013 at 12:46 am

Hi Krewella! Congrats on your stats! I can't remember exactly how I found your site in November, but I think it was from the Silhouette Plus forum. I like that you are so real and funny in your comments. Thanks for this new design – it will be very useful. I also love the Filigree alpha you started. These letters will be charming addtions to any project! : ) Melissa in South Carolian, USA

I've never met one of your files that I didn't like πŸ™‚ You're too hard on yourself and are very talented. I also get a chuckle out of your rants. We all feel like you sometimes, we just like the way you express yourself! Don't change anything and a big thank you from Amherst, Nova Scotia, Canada πŸ™‚

  • January 5, 2013 at 1:42 am

  • January 5, 2013 at 2:24 am

I'm joining the thow the carp in the bin crowd.  I'm not a frou-frou type of gal.  I'm more like a steak and taters ol' lady.  I am going to have to fluff it up a little as I have a granddaughter coming in April.  Her mom is a cowgirl type of gal, but you never know how your children will turn out πŸ™‚  Should be fun, but I've got to get prepared for either frou-frou or blue jeans.

I love your rants but for all that your designs are always beautiful and I wish I had even a smidgen of your talent.

Bigger text is easier on my eyes. And I love your comments.

Thanks for the thanks, but I had trouble with it not importing into MTC correctly. The eps and pdf imported fine, though. So I opened the svg in Inkscape, selected all, then did the 4 arrow keys, then saved it. After that, it imported fine into MTC. I will see if I can email it to you, and maybe you can see the difference.

    • January 5, 2013 at 2:54 am

Oh please do as I said I only have an old demo copy and I am sure it's much better since then XXX

  • January 5, 2013 at 3:40 am

Love it.Thanks for sharingthe lovely cut file

  • January 5, 2013 at 7:42 am

The font is just fine , easy to read. Love the templates, perhaps the answer to you not wanting to make up cards with your files would be to have a small design team?

    Just a thought?

  • January 5, 2013 at 8:08 am

yes! isn't it something when you design in your head and when you actually make it and try to put it together its never the same or it doesn't go together..maybe you found your calling in designing….anyway keep on trying ………  thx for the fabulous file!!!!!

  • January 5, 2013 at 8:15 am

Thanks for these sweet little crown mats and borders. I think that they look like little candles in the middle of the crowns.

  • January 5, 2013 at 11:46 am

Thank you for your cut files.  I look forward to looking at your site everyday.  When I retire at the end of the school year, which will be in June this year, I hope to be able to try my hand at creating files.  Mine will be nothing like the fabulous files you create.

  • January 5, 2013 at 9:05 pm

Hello, I just saw a picture of Your Crown Mat on CBB Freebies, I had to come and find out more!

Thank You for the Brilliant Gifts!

I have a Craft Robo, so i am really pleased You do a GSD file.

I think everyone has trouble from time to time with their crafting,  πŸ™  My best friend makes cards with me every week, She often has trouble cutting and sticking things straight, but I try to help and encourage her. I know Cardmaking is an Escape from her Depression and Other Problems and that She Enjoys being productive and being able to share that with Friends and Family.  Maybe I should suggest more digital crafting to her as well!

I can read this font fine, as for the look of Your Blog, I don't know what You had before so It would be hard to comment. Thank You again.

  • January 6, 2013 at 12:17 am

Hi, Like the purple background and thank you for all your stuff, it is all fantastic. One question, I have downloaded the crown but when I try to extract it tells me that it is password protected? Can you help?

    • January 7, 2013 at 4:36 pm

I am really not sure Doreen I don’t password my downloads at all. You could try re-downloading it…maybe there was a glitch… there was another lady who had problems extracting files but she felt it was too much hasle to bother and gave up so I never really managed to find out why. Have another go and if not email me and we will sort it out for you. πŸ™‚

Thanks so much Love!!! I finely got some time and hooked my laptop to mom's conection. I will be staying at mom's until??? We are thinking of moving in with her as she has asked us too.

  • January 23, 2013 at 4:57 pm

I have just found your incredible website. Thank you so much for this cutting file. I'm all about designing via my Silhouette software, and as long as I don't use liquid glue, they don'd look terrible, but I have done the template and print and it looks great.

  • January 30, 2013 at 8:48 pm

Just found your awesome site! Thank you so much for all the fantastic files you share!
