FREE HEART TEMPLATE

HEART BLOG PIC5

I have to send a HUGE amount of love out to Scott…he is the best TECH DEPT anyone could ever ask for. You present him with the problem and 8 hours of work later he gives you the answer. My files can not longer be made available on file sharing sites…well they think they can but with a bit of Harry Potter trickery from him all you get if you click download is a page appear with a link to this site…and a pic saying they are not genuine downloads…ha ha ha so all they are doing is advertising this site.

So in honnor of my wonderful husband ( Crawl Crawl kissy-face kissy-face lol ) I made this new template today. I have updated my Terms & Conditions so even if you have been with me for a while please just have a quick read because I did find a couple of sites doing a couple of things which to be fair were not made clear in the old versions.

In case you are interested in why I removed the site … a number of file sharing sites were adding links to my files and allowing them to be downloaded from here via their site… but without ever visiting my site. Not really a problem BUT that means people did not have a chance to read my T&C and  they were advertising their downloading software and also  password cracking software ( So if someone has passworded there downloads this software would find the password and unlock it ) all of which they were making money from!!!  Yeah right like I am gonna let that happen !!!

You make have noticed the watermark..sorry I know it is annoying but it seems some people were having a little pinch of my pictures to improve the profile of there site with no mention of were to get the file so that will stop there little games going forward.

Who would have thought free files would cause so much hassle…apparently all my lovely followers have made this site so popular I hit the raidar so I am taking it as flattery but I would advise anyone else out there who has a sucessful blog google yourself…it’s not vanity it’s protection…see what they are doing to your files...

I know I have waffled on but just a little note on THE  OCD  CRAFTER there is a free   ( protected lol) digi stamp if anyone uses them I am gonna keep the blogs seperate from now… but as it’s new thought it was worth a mention.

Another beautiful design Krewella. Thank you so much.

It really is a pain that people cannot respect the creations of other people, and their right to share and manage them responsibly.

So sorry you are going through this with cutting files! The digital stamp fraternity has been battling for ages with this already and set up a "Stamp Out Stamp Theft" blog and Facebook page where people can report these infringencies, and where owners can see them and report them to the server hosts. Pinterest is the WORST for sharing of stolen work. People do not understand that even if it is given away free, only the author of the artwork has the prerogative to do so!

Thank-you Margy I have added the STAMP OUT THEFT site onto the blog list. I have also added Jen's site both of which were on my site but with template changes seem to have got lost.

I don't have a problem with pintrest thankfully because it links back to my site and unless someone wishes to trace the picture when it has already been done for them it doesn't really apply to templates. I am very careful now about what I pin to pintrest and always make sure it goes back to the orginal site and post..if not it is not pinned. I have found a couple of sites that have stopped there images being pinned and http://practicallyfunctional.net/2012/07/how-to-prevent-your-photos-from-being-pinned-on-pinterest/  is a very helpful tutorial to stop images from your site being pinned and even I could mange this…without Scott lol

Thanks Krewella, this file is most lovely.  I've considered doing a blog for crafty stuff, but since I'm not terribly techy, haven't had a go at it.  I do have a web site for my business that my oh so techy son created and hosts for me. But I'm in the health care business, so I don't share anything crafty–just health stuff. I'm sorry there are so many people ripping others off, I'm so thankful that you and others give freely of their talent, we all enjoy what you create. Thanks!

This is beautiful and what a lovely tribute to your hubby.  I am going to use this heart on the card I make for my hubby.  We are both very lucky ladies to have supportive husbands who stand by us through thick and thin.  I was delighted to see your email tonight as I thought it would be a while before we saw you again.  Hope today has been a better day for you.  I'm so glad you and scott have got this problem with the theives sorted out.
