FREE DOUBLE STEPPER CARD

I saw this card HERE   and I just knew my mum would love it. unfortunately she does not give any idea how to make the card so I decided to do my own version.

This was not in the plan but I am sooooo delighted it turned out looking like a proper card and I used the glue and everything I just had to share it. The craftroom is now even more of a mess so after the blood test tomorrow my plan is to get it back to some kind of order.  Seems totally daft I am putting a card together on the floor when I have a 6ft desk full of rubbish.

EVEN IF YOU NEVER READ THE POST PLEASE READ FROM HERE…

I know that Pazzles, Studio and GSD’s all score the card given the right dotted line. I have no idea what MTC does so I am not sure this template will work for you guys sorry. But there is always the PDF which you could print and use as a template 🙂

To make all the matting and layering fit properly I have split the template into 2 pages one for the card and the second for the matting and layering and bundled it into a folder.

For a really quick card I have a little extra for you I have given you the papers ( ready to original size ) to print and cut although you would have to use scissors or a trimmer and not your machine (unless it print and cuts) …Nana I think you’re gonna like this one lol.

The butterflies at the back are on acetate and bong up and down …sooo cool lol.

Thank you! Been having a hard time thinking up a card for Mom’s day. I know it isn’t till May here in the States, but I am going to have arm and hand surgery the end of this month. I want to know my card needs for the next few months just in case. Love reading your blog and your hard work is truly appreciated.

Gorgeous! And brilliant to mimic it without instructions.
The 1st copy I downloaded unzipped with no demand for a password- I think you have that solved! MTC has different ways to do score lines, and I am not an expert. When I have time, I will try cutting the imported svg version and report back to you. It looks like it would cut OK, but I have work to do and no time to cut the file.
Sometime when you have plenty of spare time, take a look at the instructions here:
    http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/resources/
    Lots of creative ideas there.

Now that is clever of you, to put a file together of another card, thanks for the link too.

I love your card too, a great idea to use acetate, always forget that this can be done. I have only ever done one stepper, so will have to have a go at this, seeing as it’s all done for me and I do the lazy bit LOL.

    Thanks for the file.

Oh, this is gorgeous! Thanks so much–and how impressive, bet your Mum is going to love it! I can just picture you on the floor, gluing together, I have 2 tables in my “office”–one for computer and cutter, the other for “art stuff”–and sometimes both are so full that I’m working on a clear plastic tray in my lap! It seems like the messier the room, the more creative the brain!
